CDSD 2020 focuses on the topic "Transforming through Innovation" to present potential benefits of the digitalisation, to assess challenges and readiness of the construction industry for the transformation. It aims to promote the digital transformation by introducing advanced technologies, collaboration and training.
CDSD 2020 invites original research contributions from professionals from industries, academic institutions, government agencies, research scholars and students from across the world. The paper should be original research and should not have been published in any journals or conference proceedings.
Conference tracks: The main topics of the conference include, but are not limited to:
Track 1: Building Information Modelling, Big Data & Data Management
Track 2: Disruptive & Innovative Technologies in Construction and Civil Engineering
Track 3: Smart, Sustainable Cities and Infrastructure
Track 4: Automation in Engineering & Construction
Track 5: Digital Ecosystem for Engineering & Construction Management
Track 6: Education and Training
Track 7: Transformation towards Industry 4.0
All the submitted paper will be blind reviewed by the scientific committee, and the authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process for further improvements in the manuscript.
Publication:
For outstanding papers, our organising committee is in continual discussion for possible Special Issues with Scopus-indexed journals (Malaysian Construction Research Journal, International Journal of Building Pathology and Adaptation, Engineering Journal, International Journal of Sustainable Construction Engineering and Technology). Notes to authors: One person can be an author or a co-author in maximum four papers, and a paper can have maximum five authors/co-authors. Full paper should be in 12-15 pages (or 4000-5000 words), including references and appendix.
Please note that the full paper must be submitted on the template which can be found under the Submission tab. Any variation of this template may lead to a rejection of the paper. Please write your text in standard scientific English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).
We also use a double-blind review process, so please do not include author details on your paper at this stage. We will ask you to insert these at the final editorial stage. The deadline for the submission of full papers is 23:59hrs GMT on 7 September 2020.
